11 Years Old!

My sweet Colson turned 11 at the beginning of May.  11 years old!  My how the time has flown.
I took this picture of him when he was just shy of 6 months old.  He was such a pleasant baby.  He was pretty colicky until he was about 4 months old, but then one day, it just stopped.  The crying and fussing just gone.  And he did nothing but smile from then on.  And oh boy... Was this boy ever chubby.  He had rolls on his rolls.  He was my only baby that was chubby from day one.  When he was born, my Dr. said, "This is a come home to dinner baby!"  I was having some complications towards the end of my pregnancy, so after doing an amniocentesis, my Dr. decided to induce me three weeks early.  Even being born that early, he still weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz.  He was such a squishy little butterball.
And now he is 11.  Still adorable as all get out.  And he still smiles all the time.  :)  He was born on National Star Wars Day.  May the forth be with you!  He LOVES having that day for his birthday.
Extra smiley with his new iTouch.  We went to Jumpstreet earlier in the day and took some of Colson and Trenton's friends.  After Jumpstreet we brought everybody back to our house and partied on down.  The kids all snarfed down some Little Caesars and then we made some chocolate chip cookies.  Colson is a huge fan of my chocolate chip cookies!
Every year he asks for the same dinner and cake for his birthday.  I always know to plan on making Penne Pasta and a chocolate cake.  I found a really yummy recipe for the cake this year on Pinterest.  It was to die for.
He got a money box from his grandma and grandpa Stock.  His eyes kept getting bigger and bigger the more he pulled out.  He also got tons of Game Stop gift cards.  He had quite the shopping spree over there.
He is also a Tech Deck fanatic.
The balloon launch.  It was such a windy day, it was almost impossible to get a picture before the balloons were blown out of our hands.
Happy birthday my darling boy!  We love you so much!
