Girls Day Out

For her birthday, Vivi got some gift cards to American Girl from her grandparents.  So naturally it was the perfect excuse for all of us girls to get together for some shopping and lunch.
With her gift cards, Vivi ended up getting the McKenna doll.  She had seen the movie several times, and was so excited to be able to get the doll.
It is always our tradition that we go to White Chocolate Grill after shopping at the American Doll store. Vivi loves it because they have high chairs for the dolls.  It is always so much fun to go out shopping with the girls!  It is one of Vivi's most favorite past times.

Sewing Projects

Vivi started taking sewing lessons from my mom a couple of months ago.  Her first project was a pillow case.
Here is the finished product.
And here she is cutting out a skirt that she made for herself.  It turned out super cute!  I love that she is learning to sew at such a young age.  But what I love more is how much she loves it!

Dentist

Back in September, Preston had to get four of his bottom teeth pulled out.
Getting the laughing gas.  My kids get so kooky on that stuff.  As he was lying there, sniffing away, he told us, "I just turned that light on." The light was totally off.  We said, "Oh really?"  To which he replied, "Yeah.  I just turned it on with my foot!"  He never even lifted his leg off the table.  Ha!
Here he is with his missing teeth.  He had his first visit from the tooth fairy that night and was so excited!

Hittin the Runway

Back in September my mother-in-law asked to borrow my girls for a service project her ward was doing.  She asked if my girls would be willing to come and model their new matching dresses that my mom had made for them.
Jilly absolutely loved being on the runway.  She loved it so much, she completely flipped out when we took her off so the other girls could have their turn.  :)  At the end, we let her back on the runway and wear herself out running back and forth.  She slept really well that night.
Jilly and Viv in their dresses.  My mom is such an amazing seamstress.  The dresses turned out beautiful!

Sleepy Snuggles

There is nothing I love more than snuggling with my baby before she goes down for a nap.

Sometimes I even get lucky enough and she'll fall asleep in my arms before I lay her in her crib.

Oh how I love this baby!  I wish she would stop growing up so fast!
