And Another One Bites the Dust!

Here he is, our own toothless wonder! You can't see it very well in this picture, but Colson is missing four teeth on the bottom, besides the two on top, making it a whopping 6 teeth in all! It was kind of funny watching him try and eat his pizza tonight at dinner. Even cuter is listening to how he says his eth's now. Too cute! I Love you my darling toothless wonder!

Happy Birthday Sweet 2 Year Old!

Happy birthday sweet two year old boy! Where have the last two years gone? My baby is not so much of a baby any more. I wish I could just freeze time and stop him from growing up any more. Having a two year old in the house can present many challenges each day (and when that aforementioned two year old happens to be Preston, we are talking CHALLENGES), but the fatigue I feel at the end of each day is so worth it. All he has to do is smile and my heart melts like butter. I can't even express how much joy our little Preston has brought into our lives. It is so fun to see him with his older siblings and see how much they love him. He is not lacking in the love department. There is always someone there to get whatever he is pointing at for him, (hmmm... maybe that's why he won't talk) or to chase, wrestle, or sword fight with him, amongst many squeals of delight, get his coat on for him, put toothpaste on his toothbrush... now that I think about it, it is amazing the child is so independent what with people catering to his every need all day every day. Anyway, here is to the wonderful little boy that has brought so much joy and happiness into our home. We love you Preston!
He's loving his new trike, and zooms around the house all day on that thing now, either on his own, or more frequently with an older Sib pushing him along at breakneck speeds (which he thoroughly enjoys by the way).

Who Got Caught With Their Hands In the Cookie Jar?!

Man, this kid is fast! I can't leave him alone for a single second! I left the kitchen to walk a friend to the door and came back to the kitchen a whole 30 seconds later to find Preston on the counter, happily munching away on a cookie he had been trying to get to all day long.

The sweet taste of success!
