I have a centerpiece and some nice place mats for my table, you know, for decoration. But to be honest with you, I never put them on the table. It probably has something to do with the fact that I have four children, and between the four, there seems to almost always be at least one of them at the table eating, drawing, painting, or crafting. So that is why the place mats and centerpiece are never on there. I would have to remove/replace them 30 times a day! I got over it a long time ago, and every now and then, I will put these things on the table after all the kids have gone to bed. I've mostly just moved past it though. Anyway... I guess Vivi thought our table was looking a little drab and boring, so she decided to spruce it up a bit.
It lends a nice touch, don't you think? It's the perfect centerpiece for our family. There is nothing about it that is breakable. ;) Way to go Viv!

That is so cute. I love the creativity of children! She worked within her budget and came up with something unbreakable and perfectly sweet. She's a gem.
