My mom is the best. She takes the kids for Trent and I almost every Saturday afternoon so we can have a date. (She swears that if she doesn't get to see them every weekend, she goes through withdrawals.) While she has the kids, Trent and I usually spend the time going to an early dinner, a movie, the temple, grocery shopping (if I haven't gotten to it that week), etc. But this last Saturday, we decided it was time to clean out the garage.
When we finished our basement a while back, (I won't even tell you how long ago because that would be too embarrassing) the garage became the dumping ground for everything we had to clear out of the basement. And it has all sat in the garage ever since. Well, that's not entirely true, I did clean out one half of it last spring so we could at least park one car in the there.
So with all the kids at my mom's and no interruptions, we started right in on the garage. But not before taking some pictures. This is our garage before the clean-up.
What a blasted MESS! And here it is after.
There are still a few things that need to go, but that can be taken care of when the garbage truck comes on Tues., and with a quick trip to Goodwill. Oh happy Day! We can finally park both cars in the garage again!

That is so inspiring, Kiffon! Our garage looks just like your "before" pictures. We need to tackle it. Good for you and all of your organizational projects lately! It is motivating to me, thanks for sharing.
